In­ven­to­ry man­age­ment: keep­ing vir­tu­al in­ven­to­ry in-sync with the ware­house (Un­pub­lished)

A very large re­tail­er in France uses Atomikos to process or­ders and keep the vir­tu­al in­ven­to­ry data­base in-sync with goods sold at the cashier. Without Atomikos, mes­sages could be processed twice, or lost, mean­ing that the vir­tu­al in­ven­to­ry would de­vi­ate from the ac­tu­al in­ven­to­ry in the ware­house - clear­ly an un­de­sir­able busi­ness sit­u­a­tion. With Atomikos, the re­tail­er can save a lot by not hav­ing to man­u­al­ly count and ver­i­fy in­ven­to­ry as of­ten as they would.
