Quick Update on Maven Central Repository Synchronization

We had scheduled automatic synching with Maven's central repository for our 3.6 release but so far we didn't manage to get it to work. The reasons for this are mainly technical ones at the level of the synchronization protocol (rsync) and security requirements.

Anyway, we are still looking for a good way to do this so we haven't given up yet. It's just a bit more complex than we hoped for.
