Fine-tun­ing of di­ag­nos­tic log­ging

We in­clud­ed sev­er­al tweaks to make log­ging both more ex­pres­sive and less ver­bose. This should make DEBUG log eas­i­er to read and con­fig­u­ra­tion prob­lems some­what eas­i­er to di­ag­nose.

We tuned con­nec­tion reuse in the pool for re­peat­ed REST in­vo­ca­tions with­in the same re­mote trans­ac­tion. Users re­port­ed a 30% in­crease in per­for­mance thanks to this.
